1. Overview

This License explains the terms under which themes listed on the MevaSearch Theme Marketplace may be used, and the terms under which theme authors submit their work for publishing. It applies alongside our Terms of Service.

A "theme" refers to the set of visual styling data (colors, layout options, and related presentation settings) published on the Marketplace for use within MevaSearch.

2. License Granted to Users

When you apply a published theme to your MevaSearch account, the theme's author grants you a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, revocable license to use that theme for personal, non-commercial display purposes within MevaSearch.

This license does not transfer ownership of the theme to you. It does not extend to any use outside the MevaSearch platform unless separately agreed with the author.

3. Permitted Use

• Applying any published theme to your own MevaSearch account, free of charge.
• Switching between themes at any time.
• Referring to a theme by name when discussing or recommending it to others, with a link back to its Marketplace listing.

4. Restrictions

Unless the theme's author has given explicit written permission, you may not:

• Redistribute, resell, or repackage a theme's underlying color values, configuration, or assets outside the Marketplace.
• Extract a theme's styling for use in a product or service unrelated to MevaSearch.
• Present a theme as your own original work.
• Modify and republish a theme under a different listing without crediting the original author.

5. Ownership and Attribution

Theme authors retain ownership of their original design work. Published listings display the author's chosen name, and this attribution must be preserved wherever a theme is referenced or shared.

"MevaSearch" and its logo remain the property of the WebOrbiton Team and are not licensed for use in theme names or branding in a way that implies official endorsement, except for themes published directly by the MevaSearch Team.

6. License Granted by Theme Authors

By submitting a theme for publishing, you grant MevaSearch a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute the theme to Marketplace users under the terms of Section 2 above, for as long as the theme remains published.

You confirm that you own the rights to the submitted design, or have permission to license it under these terms, and that granting this license does not infringe on any third party's rights.

You may request removal of your published theme at any time; see Section 7.

7. Removal of Themes

Theme authors may request removal of their published theme by contacting mevasearch@weborbiton.com. Removal stops new users from applying the theme; users who have already applied it may continue to use it until they switch themes.

MevaSearch may also remove a theme at its discretion in cases of policy violations, as described in our Terms of Service.

8. Official MevaSearch Themes

Themes listed as published "by MevaSearch" are created and owned by the MevaSearch Team and are licensed to users under the same terms described in Section 2, without the attribution requirements that apply to community submissions.

9. Disclaimer

Themes are provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. MevaSearch does not guarantee that a theme is free of visual defects or that it will remain compatible with future versions of MevaSearch.

10. Changes to This License

We may update this License from time to time. Changes apply to future submissions and continued use of the Marketplace; material changes affecting existing published themes will be communicated to their authors where feasible.
